For accountants.

Engagement letters, tax authorities and year-end sign-off, and one place for clients to send their records.

What firms like yours send

  • Letters of engagement, sent once a year to every client.
  • Authorities to act for a client with Inland Revenue or the ATO, with each clause ticked on its own.
  • Financial statements and tax returns for directors and trustees to approve.
  • Document requests for bank statements, invoices and receipts at year end.

One client, many people

A company has directors, a trust has trustees, and the same person often acts for both. Signpane keeps each client with the people who act for it and their roles. Everyone with a login sees the documents of every client they act for.

Authorities that say exactly what was agreed

Write your authority wording once as a template. Each signer ticks each clause on its own, so if one director agrees to GST filing but not income tax, you can see that. Editing the template later never changes what someone already signed.

Identity checks

In New Zealand, accountants have had AML/CFT duties since 2018. In Australia, many accountants have AML/CTF duties for some services since 1 July 2026. Record each check and the evidence you saw against the client the person acts for.

Under your name

Clients open docs.yourfirm.co.nz or docs.yourfirm.com.au, see your logo and colours, and get emails from your firm with replies coming back to you. A small "Secured by Signpane" line sits in the footer.
